This policy explains what EvetSouq collects, why we hold it, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
Your name, email address, phone number and delivery addresses, because an order cannot reach you without them. Your order history and any reviews you write. Basic device information, and a push token if you turn notifications on. If you write to support, the message you send.
What we do not collect
Card numbers. Payments are handled by our payment provider and the API stores only a transaction reference. We do not buy personal data from third parties, and we do not sell yours to anyone.
Why we hold it
To take, deliver and support your orders, to show you your own history, to send the order updates you asked for, and to keep the records a retailer in the UAE is required to keep.
Who else sees it
The seller of each item receives the delivery details needed to fulfil it and nothing more. The courier receives your name, address and phone number. Our hosting and payment providers process data on our behalf under contract, and may not use it for anything else.
How long we keep it
Order records for five years, as tax law requires. Everything else until you close your account, at which point your profile and saved addresses are deleted and your reviews are anonymised.
Your choices
You can edit or remove your addresses, change your notification preferences, and close your account from your profile. To request a copy of your data or its deletion, write to privacy@evetsouq.ae; we answer within 30 days.
Cookies
The website uses cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your language. There is no advertising or cross-site tracking on EvetSouq.
